Welcome to Mind Offloader. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mind Offloader mobile application ("the App," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to create your own account. Child accounts within a household may be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is themselves an adult user of the App. By creating a child account, the parent or guardian confirms they have the authority to do so and accepts these Terms on the child's behalf for their use of the App.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
Adult members of a household may create child accounts with restricted permissions. Child accounts can view and complete assigned tasks and see their point balance, but cannot access account settings, payment information, invite other members, or manage household roles.
Mind Offloader allows members of a household to share tasks, calendar events, recipes, points, and rewards with one another. By joining a household, you agree that content you create or contribute (such as tasks, recipes, or calendar entries) may be visible to, and used by, other members of that household.
If you leave a household or delete your account, shared content you contributed generally remains available to the household, while your personal account information is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4.1 Free Usage A household with a single member may use the App's core features free of charge, indefinitely.
4.2 Free Trial Period When a household adds a second member, the household receives a free trial period (currently 21 days) during which all members have full access to create and edit shared content. The trial begins automatically the first time a second member joins the household and does not require a purchase, payment method, or App Store account action to begin.
4.3 Paid Subscription Once a household's free trial period ends, continued full access for a household with more than one member requires an active subscription ("Household Plan"), at the price displayed in the App and on the applicable app store listing before purchase. Pricing may vary by region.
4.4 Auto-Renewal Once purchased, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
4.5 Managing & Canceling Subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your device. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.
4.6 What Happens When the Free Trial Ends or a Subscription Lapses If a household's free trial period has ended, or an active subscription is not in place, and the household has more than one member, the household enters a read-only mode: existing content (tasks, calendar, recipes, points history) remains visible to all members, but creating or editing content is disabled until an active subscription is started. Any adult member of the household may restore full access by subscribing.
4.7 Trial Terms The free trial period is a one-time benefit per household and applies only once, the first time a household adds a second member. The length of the free trial period is displayed in the App and may be changed for future households. Ending your free trial period without subscribing simply returns the household to read-only mode as described in Section 4.6; there is no charge associated with the free trial period ending.
